KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

Thanks ann-marie. Well my memory is shocking  but I do recall that we saw a bushbaby in the tree right by the game vehicle before we even moved! Which was really nice as it was still light and the bushbaby was not high up and clearly visible. We did see large spotted genet - I think they are really beautiful creatures.
Oh and the 'controversial' thing of the drive was a leopard/lioness eating from a young hippo carcass in the river bed not far from camp. We had a powerful pair of binocs and both Sarah and I could clearly see the spots, whereas the guide said it was a lioness. Even with our binocs the guide was adamant it was a lioness but I still disagreed but didn't say anything. :? It was too far away to be 100% either way really so we couldn't be sure of that one.
