I have added a very rough Google translation to the post with the Beeld article - hopefully you will get the gist of the story; I did fix some of the worst grammar.

I found this quite interesting given our upcoming trip later this year. We are planning a visit to the major Kenya parks and then down to SA for a 10 day Kruger visit.

We are doing self drive in Kenya and are hiring a Landy for this (some of the roads look dodgy) - most of the Landy's and other vehicles available for "safari" tours have pop up roofs for people to stand and watch. Photo's I've seen have people protruding through the roofs taking photo's etc. Quite different to what we will experience in Kruger where no protrusion is allowed.

I will have to monitor the animals behaviour in both situations and see if I can come up with a behavorial theory :twisted: :lol:
