Thank you Wild@Heart, I had such a good laugh thinking of you doing Swan Lake. I don't blame you, though, we all have our own Swan Lake triggers. I did my performance in one of the kitchens at Shingwedzi when a Red Roman suddenly scuttled towards me.

Last year I did a bush camp at Sand River and Holigan went round showing us scorpions with a UV light. Fascinating.

I also think it's a great topic. Thanks W@H  (perhaps you might also include a video of you Swan Lake performance? )

LOL!!! Arks .. If such a video exists .. i shall have to go into hiding somewhere and copyright it so that no one can use it or have to pay me HUGE amounts to release it :D Besides .. I don't think the forum will be able to handle that amount of network traffic of people wanting see it and crack themselves up :) :) :)

@Chirinda .. Looks like Shingwedzi is the Red Roman capital of Kruger .. that's where I did my rehearsal for swan lake when I saw these "rats" which turned out not to be rats running around my feet ... Flip flops have never reached heights like they did that night :)

Seems we must all invest in a good pair of boots before going to Kruger again...

While staying at Malelane, our dinner guest was late - thankfully. We had cleaned up and went to sit down at the table to enjoy a quiet glass of wine when we found this racing around the edge of the table. SO stood behind me with the torch (at a safe distance) while I tried to get close for a photo. This was the best I could get.

 One advantage of flip-flops is that a visitor cannot hide whilst closed shoes is better to inspect before wearing them. Red Romans are plentiful in Shingwedzi at times. :hmz: Spiders and snakes usually encourage supple body movement.

:D PNF.

Some people say if a person is scared of snakes then that person is less or not at all scared of spiders and if a person is scared of spiders the person is less scared of snakes :) . Not sure whether it is a true or not. Never really encountered people who are very scared of lizards, frogs, bats and so forth though, they may get some goosebumps but the reactions are not the same as when snakes and spiders are visiting.
