I came across this article about rooibos in a news magazine of a conservation organisation I support. Thought the Saffies amongst you might be interested.

New use for rooibos

Very interesting. Thanks for the article, Saraf

I am a coffee drinker in the morning, but I do enjoy the occasional cup of rooibos.

Uses for rooibos:

Ginger and rooibos, excellent for colds and flu
Peppermint and rooibos.. tummy upsets
Camomile and rooibos.. night time relaxant. I often drink it last thing at night.

A friend used to drink mild rooibos and ginger to ease her morning sickness whilst pregnant.

I prefer rooibos to green tea. I find that green tea makes my teeth curl.

Lovely article - I think I won't share froggy's cup of tea though.

MM, have you tried green tea with jasmine? I find that very nice, not plain green tea though.
