I see Kahn dishing out some short balls to Steyn. Good thing as this will fire him up. I still think we have a good chance of winning this game.

Looks like we are going to be a couple short.

SA have bowled the last 3 teams to visit our shores out for less than 50. India's turn? 8)

  Congrats Vernon Philander on becoming the fastest SA bowler to 100 wickets, beating Dale Steyn and Allan Donals. They turned out decent fast bowlers in the long run. Sign of good things to come.

Quite a few less than a couple.......

Yes. Well done Vern. When conditions suit him, he moves the ball just enough to find the edge of the bat where others move it too much.

This could turn out to be a cracker of a finish. If you live in the Joburg area get there! But don't wait until Sunday......

Jacques has decide to retire after the second test against India. The cricketing world is losing its greatest all rounder ever. I'm sure he will be sorely missed by the Proteas and his franchise as well as the cricket fans around the world. Cricket has lost three great cricketers, Ponting, Tendulker and Kallis, in one year.Long may they enjoy their respective retirements.

Agreed. Wonder why Kallis is retiring from the format he is best suited to, and staying on for the others.

Must agree with you BB but I think he is hoping to get an invite to the world cup in 2015.

Just booked to go to the FA Cup match next Friday night between Arsenal and Coventry.
Don't think Wenger will field his best team, but it should still be good.
My son is beyond excited.

What is going on with England?? They just can't win a cricket match, how can you allow 10th wicket partnership of 57 runs in 33 balls

It's pathetic.
A few months ago, England were beating the Aussies, and now, they are managing to lose every match possible, even one when they were from a brilliant position.
And not losing, but capitulating without a fight.
And it's the same team (well it was before half of them had a nervous breakdown, quit half way through a series, or were sent home in disgrace)

BB,
If it makes you feel any better, I actually wanted United to win today and take some points off Chelsea

That is a sad state of affairs. :hmz:

It used to be the other way round.

I am happy when anyone except United fans wants them to lose.

BB,

He he.
That's sport for you. :slap:

I think it will be between City or Chelsea for the title with us (Arsenal) a safe 3rd
