It's Monday

Today I go to work

Work finances my trips to Kruger, Kgalagadi, Addo and all the other parks (spread out in time of course).

I would like to tell you about my own special way I think of Kruger.

A few years ago while visiting Kruger, I saw small impala Lilly's for sale at one of the Kruger nurseries, I decided that I must have one. My SO warned me that there is no ways that it would grow in Bloemfontein.

Well I bought it and planted it in a nice pot on our patio where it gets full sun. In the winter I cover it up nice and snug in the evenings with newspaper and frost cloth and open it again I the day to get the sun.

Well you should see hoe big its got, easily 10 times its original size.

Now every time I go outside and see the lovely pink flowers on it, I've got my own bit of Kruger right here.

Yesterday afternoon as my eyes glanced up at my laptop toolbar on the top right, I read 5:25 as the time
However I read the '5' as an 'S' and so I so S25 ...
this sent me down memory lane of a lion sighting on the Crocodile River Road!
When I zoned back to reality, it was nearly 6!! My brain is constantly on the Krugerian wavelength :slap:

To those who cannot be at the Cricket, or Kruger or any of the other national parks amongst the open skies today - enjoy your Friday at work, be productive and have a few happy thoughts of your favorite places (Pafuri picnic spot :) 8) with some nice breakfast and coffee) that is special to you

Productivity is not great for me today.

I have made my sightings booklet and I am handing over to a colleague because I AM OFF TO KGALAGADI on Monday.

Think about Kruger all the time at varsity. Around the engineering section are quite a number of great fever trees, a constant reminder of the bush!

That trip is ancient history now.....

A work colleague has asked me to take him to Kruger. Next year maybe. It is about time I went again.
I am well known at work for my love of wildlife, and encourage the locals to go to Kruger, Kgalagadi and other parks.

Most days I count some buffalo, lions, ellies and rhino, sometimes a couple of leopards too :D It would be nice if they were real ones I was counting *sigh*
