Son, test driving his new car on the dirt roads through the Waterberg, took us all along for the ride. During a moment of silence:

Grandson (8yrs): I can see Elephants and Hippos
Son( whilst braking sharply)and DIL in unison: Where?
GS: They're in the river
All of us: What river?
GS: In the Kruger Park................

Wishful thinking, boytjie, wishful thinking ................... :(

You know you're a Kruger fan when...you arrived home after +- 2000 Km, cleaning your car and trying to get rid of all the Ellie and Buff dung underneath

When you arrive home after a trip and want to frame all the ellie and buff dung...

when you pull up to fresh cow pat, breathe in deeply and say, "ah, bliss"..

when your heart starts beating wildly each time you see a picture of Kudu horns

When you clean your car after a muddy trip you make sure your car is parked on the grass so you have a bit of Kruger in your garden when you hose it down

When you are having a restless, sleepless night, you visualize stopping at a peaceful Kruger spot and drift off happy and content... and a tad, well maybe more than a tad, homesick.

When the tax consultant asks you to list your assets :hmz: and all you can think about is your wild card.

When you need to log on every morning for a daily fix.
