I have found it very confusing when every now and again a new member chose the same avatar as what I had....although most have been very accommodating and changed theirs, it was also frustrating getting PM's where ppl were telling me they are getting confused as they saw "My" Avatar, only to find out it was someone else posting...especially those who have been following the discussions and progress for My Year in the Park.

I have now decided to rather use one of my own pictures than to get other forumites confused....and thanks to Gwen, who helped me resized to required size. I am sure it would be very difficult for another to go and photograph the same tree in Kruger

And for the Crest, on a wreath of Colours Issuant from a Mural Crown Or charged with a Rose Gules charged with another Argent barbed and seeded proper a dexter Arm embowed the hand holding Hammer all proper.

Supporters:

On the dexter side a Female figure (representing Art) proper vested in Argent wreathed round the temples with Laurel Vert tied by a Riband Gules holding in the sinister hand resting on the Shield a Book bound also Gules and in the dexter a Painter's Pallette Or with two Brushes proper and on the sinister side a Man habited as a Smith (representing Industry) holding in the dexter hand resting on the Shield a Cupel and in the sinister a Hammer resting on an Anvil all proper.

Maybe I should stick to Extra Special Bitter?

Translation:
On the left one of our Angels, (Chatty people) in a blue dress held up by the Yellow Ribbon.
On the right a Muskateer (no explanation needed) holding his shield (to block the dishes and bricks the Angel throws), and a rubber hammer for setting up the tent.
