Smilies play a huge role in communication on a forum such as ours. Some members just have that gold touch to adding the correct smilies at the right time to a post. How about us all sharing our favourite smilies here with each other - and we can all get to use them?

Please remember to only link to sites that give permission for use of their smilies. It will also help if you post the link to the smiley so others can use it.

I'm not very technical and usually only use the smileys on the sanparks forums, but I would like to know where some people get theirs from.

For instance for birthdays or anniversaries etc people post big ones with flowers and fireworks and champagne corks popping etc.
They are not the small smileys, probably not even smileys come to think of it, but I would still like to know where to find them please, if anyone can help!!

Of the Sanparks smileys I use the Blue Thumb, dancing smiley and the whistle the most I would think.
Sometimes the twisted evil if I'm hacked off and the big eyes if I'm shocked.

Val - I was complaining one time about not being able to access smileys from a certain site (also that I had got a bit fed up with the selection on a site I used to use). My grandson told me to use Google. Now, I open a New Tab, go to the Google `compartment` on the bar at the top of the page and type in the smileys I want (eg Happy Birthday smileys, or Cheers smileys). When the page appears, I click on Images at the left side, then the required size (Icon). You then Copy the `address`, (it`s also as well to check full size of the image before you go ahead!), click on Forum, click Img on forum `bar`, then Paste. It saves using up a lot of room on your computer by downloading a `site` and by playing around with the wording you can get quite a wide variety of smileys on any subject. hope this helps. not a very good example - this was supposed to be a `friendly smiley`!!
