Thank you all most sincerely for your wonderful messages and heartwarming, supportive presence in our lives. We feel as if you're all part of our close family. What wonderful human beings you all are. The funeral will be on Friday at 11 a.m. in Bloemfontein, and we're expecting a large gathering. As Siobain said, he was a man of Kruger, visiting as often as he was able. He was also a successful businessman and well-known in Bloem. All lives must close at some stage, and we can but remember him for the good things that he was. For, in the mind, a person lives forever.

Have been out of touch for a couple of days and have only now come across this news - deepest sympathies. Your father is now at peace, Siobain but has left you with many happy memories.

Thank you for all the support and well wishes I've received. Today I started work again and I feel brand new with no pain and loads of energy! Already planning our next trip....
