Sorry Could not post this weekend. I went to Zim and only got back yesterday, so could not visit Kruger nor could I see the Punda Pride, which only means that I may be going this Sunday to search for them. Dont worry about the stiches, they dont hurt anymore. Hopefully the star thing will turn out well with the guests.

I just got some Good News. I am going to Kruger on the 25th to the 29th, and although I will not be staying in Kruger itself, I'll be staying in Hazyview. So it should be great.

Had a great year end function last night and awards were given out to us... I got the 'animal in another life' as I apparently talk only Kruger and everything about wildlife with them teachers :redface:

Good Morning V's

Wow, recently been driving soo much and driving again today, that I feel like I have driven around 3000 - 3500 KMS in the past month, and it is starting to take its toll,getting really tired with driving to be honest.

James, defo not looking forward to traffic in Kruger Park. Hopefully I'll be lucky by just escaping the peak time traffic since I am going during the last week of November :pray:

Really Hoping to see my Wild Dogs, but lets see.

Heksie, my family seem to think that about me, but my 4 year old nephew from ZIM loves animals, so am hoping to take him in the winter so that the park is more child friendly than. Everytime I go see him he shows all his toy animals and also all his books. So hopefully I can take him to Kruger in the winter and make him have a memorable trip

Besides that the Weekend is here, so enjoy everyone

Good Morning V's :hello:

So another boiling hot day in Thohoyandou, and according to accuweather on my phone it is going to be unseasnably hot the next 2 days :shock:

Anyway Cheetah, thanks for the advice, the only place I would stay during Christmas weekend is Shingwedzi and no other camp in the Park. Hopefully the Wild Dogs will be running around as soon as I enter Phabeni Gate every morning :pray: :pray: :pray: , Recently I heard there is a pride of 18 Lions in the vacinity according to Kruger Sightings, and hopefully they will still be around when am there. Its going to be an adventure, because we are three very young man that are going.

ages are 20, 18, 18 so we got nothing to worry about, :lol: :D so no adults to give us sensible advice, so I guess this is going to be an adventure.

My next booking is for a week next year April :cry: :cry: :cry:

But hopefully I'll try and squeeze in a weekend trip before that.

You guys will have an awesome trip.

2 months back I went just with my cousin. Just two 23 year olds.
Was one of the most awesome trips I've been on.

Had some lovely sightings and adventures. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Mohsin, You should try fitting in a trip soon. if you or any of the V's want to join me and my 2 buddies during the week commencing on the 25th, you all are more than welcome to. PM if you all are interested because we have an 8 sleeper room with 3 bedrooms and in that just the 3 of us.

Wish i could squeeze in a trip this year but i'm really busy at work at the moment. will probably only be able to go in Feb next year or so.

Hey Everybody 8)

How is your Monday going?

18 days till KNP I cannot wait :mrgreen:

But we have a new mission, which is Get Granny to come with us :wink:

My Grandparents stayed with us and since my Grandpa passed away my gran would be alone when we go to KNP. My mom said that she would stay behind with my Gran, but its been a rough year for her and she deserves a break plus the whole family hasn't been to KNP together for a while.

Now my Gran is quite old and she is not the best on her feet and she requires a few hours of oxygen a day. These aren't really problems because for the first 2 nights we have a family cottage at Berg en dal which she could just relax at all day. After those 2 days my mom, sister and gran will return home. The biggest obstacle will be leaving her dog at my uncles house, really hoping we can make it happen. Hold thumbs that she says yes and that I can find some sort of Cottage accommodation for the 3rd night, I currently have a Safari tent which wouldn't work :pray:
