Dear all,

Over the past weeks the mods have received numerous complaints regarding the amount of chit chat and non SANParks related content allowed on the forum.

We realise that chit chat and fun and laughs are vital to the sense of camaraderie and atmosphere on the forums, but we do feel those who lodged the complaints have a valid point.

Members cannot be expected to only discuss serious issues all the time and never spin off topic, but this forum is about SANParks and Nature Conservation and the bulk of the content needs to reflect this.

As you have noticed the mods are now trying to trim down the amount of, as well as limit the length of, non SANParks related chit chat.

Please support us in this effort to maintain a healthy balance between the two. Should you feel we tighten up too much, please do contact one of the mods, we most certainly will consider your view.
