Just to remind you "spinners" - my broom comes along here, approximately once every day, if possible, and schweeeeps everything that has been posted before that day.

I have seen many facilities at picnic sites and in camps battling with the number of people and I don’t believe that this comes from overnight visitors; therefore the crowding issues are caused by the number of day visitors.

So , we are back to the day visitor problem that seems to upset you,Image

Image sounds like a real winner to me Mcook,
You would probably have a much better holiday outside the park, but on the plus side , you could come into Kruger and irritate the rest of us , but get there early , there is a quota system Image

We were in Shingwedzi for just over a week over Christmas 2012, and NOT ONCE during the time we stayed there, could we get into ANY picnic site or day-visitors area within reach of Shingwedzi. They were all overflowing from early morning to late afternoon. A few times we waited a while to see if someone would pack up and leave, but no one ever left, except those who, like us, arrived and saw that there was no space.

Been there , done that, and even got a t shirt ,The trick is to stand about and look pathetic :D or in my case, like a complete idiot who does not what is going on , somebody will always offer to share a table , and then they mostly eat of my skottle  friends for life

Unread postby MATTHYS » Mon Jul 14, 2014 1:34 pm

How I wish I had the writing talent and photographic skills that our TR writers have.
A :gflower: to each and every one of our TR writers. You bring so much joy, precious moments and knowledge to our forums

And no, I am not about to write a TR, but would like to invite you all to enter this competition.
I have seen so many stunning photos in your Travel Tales, please enter them.
