I am an hydroponic tomato farmer. Thinking of studying towards becoming a CA to give me "options". Very fortunate to be my own boss so I can go and do "admin" and somehow end up on the Sanparks forum dreaming of getting into the bush. My SO is an educational psychologist she helps learners in various ways. My dream is to earn enough money to be able to purchase my own game farm bordering on to KNP!

I have my own company in plasterworks. The work is dirty, but the rewards, the look on peoples faces, is great.

I am a Traveller - I go where I am needed and only do what I want to. I find myself wandering at God's beautiful creation every day and try to leave everywhere I've been a better place , by working at it myself and/or by trying to change people's perceptions of the world we are living in. There is no more worthy job/cause than that of being a conservationist and I respect every one that is involved in this - and the funny thing is - everyone can do this job!!!!

Hi! I am an orthopaedic doctor. It was either that or veterinary science! Could have been working in Kruger right now! But enjoy what I do and it is rewarding when patients get well!

I am a Drain Surgeon.. sorry bad joke Actually a residential Service Plumber, altho now we are called Plumbing Tech's...I guess with the advent of electronics and hands free taps etc. I would love to have Blougansie's job ...maybe someday when the bills are paid and some leisure time is owed
I've got the SANParks internship, just not at KTP. My life has gone a little crazy this last month, so now i'm deciding whether to take it or not...
...In the meantime... I just found out that this week i'll be starting as a volunteer at Cheetah Outreach! It should be interesting. It's a controversial place and I'm sure that some forumies will have strong opinions about Cheetah Outreach. In the year and a half i've been in CT, I wouldn't go near the place. I didn't like the idea of cheetahs in cages at a wine estate. I didn't watch their TV show either, because I don't watch TV. SO when a friend took me there last week, I was surprised to see that they do a lot of awesome work. It'll be a cool way to get involved with cheetah conservation in SA. Yay!

I´ve got a new job now and am quite busy... And a lot of webpages are blocked in the office - sanparks.org being one of them (why I don`t have a clue!)
so no reading in the forum during lunch break!! have not much time left for reading all the posts...
already thinking about quitting!

but as I won`t be able then to afford any future trips to the KNP I´ll guess I´ll have to stick with it and accept the limited time left for the forum
