Thanks Carol g and hilda! :)

OWN, I just re-read that paragraph describing Billy's enthusiasm awaiting his daily fare of Hills. The images I get are so wonderful - can't wait to see another pic!

Just when you think it's safe to go back in the water  :slap:

I guess I got too confident and result = dog fight. :(

Of course I would be home on my own and I had two dogs, Saffie and Toki onto Lucy who was not backing down either! Thank goodness again that Saffie is so obedient and I got her extricated quickly and out of the way or I would have been in serious trouble.
Then I was able to wrap a hand very firmly around each dog's muzzle and just hold on for about half a minute until I could get them apart. Then I tried to scoop Toki up and stand up and Lucy was still continuing the aggression. She jumped up to try and keep biting and inadvertently gave me a good bite on the inside of my left elbow. Ow! Really disappointed and a bit upset but I knew that getting them all inside together again would be the 'final frontier'.
Looks like more time together out in the yard is needed. Oh, well seems like some more of that perserverence is in order. :?

That's a shame threedogs.

I have trawled back and can't find the intial story but I can have a rough guess.

Good luck, I hope it sorts itself out soon.

Oh no! Just as we thought all is calm and well in the Threedogs' household, another fight starts!

Sorry about you being bitten, that is very sore, I know! Barend bites me on a regular basis, and then I am furious, because it is unnecessary and very painful! It normally happens when he is tired, and I want to get out of bed to go to the bathroom. His bed is in front of my side of the bed. Then I am not allowed to go past his side.

Good luck, I sincerely hope it was just a once off!

3D, I'm looking for a good one of Billy. Sounds like you handled that dog fight very well indeed.  The problem always is that they go into red-zone, and seldom listen to reason. But, getting hold of the muzzles and holding on sounds like a smart thing to do. Unfortunately you got a bite in the process - hope it isn't too serious.

That is sad, Hugh. I'm sure you can find a good home for her as she still has many good years left.

Oh dear Hugh :( really is a pity that I am not closer.

We have "Friends of the Cat" here. Do you not have an equivalent down your way?

Gal was so calm this morning, but now the builders who are building about a km from where we live have started blasting rock with dynamite , she is now in a state climbing all over me and shaking, have given her some rescue tablets, hope she calm down soon. :wall:

Three dogs I haven't heard from you in a while, how are those doggies of you doing? Hope not still fighting

I hope the blasting doesn't last too long Carolg! Just keep her close to you, and reassure her that you won't let anything happen to her while you are near! They do understand! I can just imagine what those sounds would do to my three kids! :(
