Nickname on the Forum

Unread postby Lepardfan » Wed Mar 04, 2015 9:34 am

I am sure some of us have wondered where or how some of the fellow mites got the nicknames they use here, or what inspired them to use this particular nickname.:hmz:

Although some of them are quite obvious, like mine  .

I just thought that it might be interesting where some of you or how you got the nicknames.

Please feel free to share.

Loooooong ago, when I was young and innocent and naive :littleangel: and I joined the forums, I used my nick that my kids call me, made up of my family 'name' and that I love birds. My SO thinks it is time I grow up though and use a more mature nick on the forums.

Grant was one of our dogs who died two years ago. Missy is the dog on the bottom of my avvie.

DB I think the forum members get used to a forum alias or name and if a person changes your alias or nick then the forum members might think it is someone else :) For example I am used to Dinkybird :) and if I all of a sudden read Pearl Spotted Owl (just an example) I will wonder who the new forum member is with so many posts :D  .

I use this Name on other Forums as well.... lazy to think of other names......
I live in my own little world. But it's okay they know me here.

Thank you DinkyBird, GM and NetEk for sharing it with us. :gflower:

DinkyBird sounds quite mature to me

And yes GM you are quite correct we are all already so used to the names on this forums, to change it may just cause a lot of confusion.
