A few from our trip a few months back....

The first was at Sunset Dam

Recently returned from a family trip to the Eastern Cape, where I took long walks in the estuary for hours on end. Here are a couple of results of my photographic encounters with our feathered friends. Most have been cropped, but not altered in any other manner....

Cattle Egret

Whitebreasted Cormorant

Kelp Gull

Sacred Ibis on their way to roost for the night

and a Kelp Gull without feet :shock:

Thanks Granjan, you are quite correct and I have altered the post. The area where this was taken has many more Reed than Whitebreasted Cormorants and thus the error of my ID not originally noticed .... :thumbs_up:
