Massimo, I grew up within a kilometre from Florence Bloom and I still live that close. It is a great place. I'm sorry I saw your post now only, else I might have joined you.

Did you end up going? What did you think?

If you go again, I might be able to suggest some routes for you.

I have seen some interesting birds there.

I don't think its not safe. There is private security which patrol regularly in the park. It is well used by dog walkers, off-road cyclists and joggers. There's also a very popular children's playground near the hides (not near enough to disturb the birds). As long as you go at a reasonable time I doubt you'd have any trouble. I don't feel threatened when I go.

If you like, try get in contact with Geoff Lockwood. He lives close to the sanctuary and will give you more info. As far as I know, he does an atlassing walk around the park a few times a week on his own, without incident.

The hides are reasonable. A little bit of litter maybe but not bad.

I don't think I've taken pictures there before, I generally go just to look.

Edit: The hides might be a bit far away for taking pictures
