Just wondering: Are you allowed to take a tripod or a monopod in your handluggage in the airplane? :hmz:

dont really know
but suspect if you hand it over to the crew they will stow it in the cabin.
Noticed that large souvenirs are being handled in that way.

btw, i always pack in my suitcase

Shouldn't be a problem at all.
Been carrying my tripod for a couple of years as hand luggage and always gave it to the hostess while boarding. Only thing is that you have to remember to ask for it and you normally end up getting off last.
