Just kidding... I just love the expression on his face... It speaks volumes :)

My favourite is actually this landscape

I was waiting for my wife to finish up in the bathroom and just played with camera settings and tested a new 170-500 lens.

and then this bird.

In this case I actually tried to get them at the plant as there was a lot of them there and it was quite a sight...

I spotted today's lowvelder newspaper and see that your sunbird picture won a prize!!! (28/11/06)

Congratulations :) It is an image of rare quality indeed.

I am a local man as well but none of my stuff has ever mad eit to the Lowvelder :)

Congratulations once again... I'll check if I can make a scan of the article and post it somewhere....

That's a very nice pic, Baffers, but your "sunbird" is actually a white-eye (and leachy's is a whitefronted bee-eater) :wink: :)

Hello you all!

What a surprise (for a European), it also rains in Africa :shock: ! Bad? Not that much, it gives less usual pictures. I like this one very much as these waterbucks look so calm and proud in the heavy rain. It makes me think of how we, humans, run in all directions at the first little drops falling :lol: ...
