Wonderful picture - is that a Porcupne Quill underneath the chin? Perhaps the cause of the despair

Last April on the track to the dry magamba waterhole, I had this young male leopard entirely to myself. He walked up to my car and stood staring at me and I was so entranced, I didn't even think about winding up the window.
He's now my desktop background and I remember that magical moment every time I switch on.

Fabulous sighting granjan, Great picture. I’m struggling to choose one so here’s my top 3.

This young male lion is part of the mega pride spotted at Gudzani watering hole in August 2012. He was getting annoyed by flies when he eventually started to run straight towards our car.



This hyena was part of a clan of 18 strong. He was so nosy and kept coming up to our car and eventually even jumped up on our bonnet



This leopard we saw on a night drive during our stay at Lower Sabie. He was very relaxed and kept posing which gave us a wonderfull sighting
