July 3
Time to leave the park at Phalaborwa via Mooiplaas Water hole, Mopani and Letaba. No Leopard, Cheetah or Rhino to wave us out  . :hmz: I think the 3 are all migrating animals  , because they have been frequently seen in the South, but we didn’t saw them in the North
But nevertheless we won’t complain. On our way out we saw plenty. Off course Impala, a Red crested korhaan near Mooiplaas water hole, and also a decent amount of Kudu. Also 2 herds of Giraffe, 3 different herds of Hippo, several herds of Ellie, 2 different Southern ground hornbills sightings and a beautiful Saddle-billed stork.

Oh yeah almost forgot, the usual sighting of the last 3 days  Lion again…… The fourth day in a row….. Lions…………
No, the fourth day in a row Lionesses     Usually we see Lions/Lionesses every trip to the Kruger  But we never saw Lions four days in a row 8)

We left the park at 12h30 with sadness. We know we will come back for good, but still…

Regards Cees & Corina
