On the way in saw 2 impalas and one bright blue porta toilet in the bush! Nothing else. Once booked in, saw big rhino at fence close enough to touch! Went for drive, saw big herd of impies and lots of marabou storks, rollers, and WONDERFUL trees and grass. Back in camp, long tailed spotted genet came to visit. Also have seen about 10000 small black unidentified beetles in my bungalow!

She's having a (maybe more than just "a" ) whipskey on all of us right now. I warned her to be careful, coz that's when ellies tend to fade. She's not to worried about that... the worst, she thinks, that can happen is they'll turn pink.

At the moment am attempting which is the operative word to cook a mielie a chop and some wors on a fire! Say hi to all from me pls.

Genet just visited again. Am so excited. He sat here for long time. Hope I have a pic. Ppl must have been feeding him. Poor thing.

he is not big so maybe young. Never seen one before, but he is half tame as did not move the 2nd time he came, when I went to fetch camera.

A strange to me, warbling kinda sound bird calling now and being answered. Wish I knew more. Maybe nightjar but diff from the ones at home. Good night.

Not much game seen today but its BEAUTIFUL here at the moment. Two ELLIES far far far away One happy ELLIE close. Rhino far away. Jerrys and impies and guinea fowl by the hundreds with young. Going to have an early night. Off to Skukuza tomorrow. The Park is looking so stunning. You don't need to see game. The trees and grass will do.

Genet not back yet but expect him back soon. Hope so but ppl next door making a BIG ROW. I feel like wishing ALL stink bugs on them!

If it goes on past 8 will do something. He is conducting business on his cell phone which he may as well not use as I'm sure whoever he is calling can hear him without it!

Thank goodness business over or cell battery died! Hope he has lost millions! Whoops thats not nice. They have gone to visit friends elsewhere in the camp. Think whole camp knows that now. Maybe genet will now appear. My bush TV has produced an excellent meal... standard for me here. Lamb chops roast sweet corn on the bush TV and tomatoe and onion salad obviously NOT on bush TV.

No genet tonight well not so far. Cant wait up any longer. Eyes closing. Tomorrow is another great day in the Park.

Another interesting day. Very few beasties only one lot of ellies FAR away. Impies, very few piggies, some monkeys, baboons, a duiker, lizards, tortoise, and what I think is LOTS of alien creepers smothering bushes and trees. I think it's a worry but I really am a novice and know nothing. Lots of black jacks too.

Black jacks are weeds. I used to feed my rabbits on them but they are not good plants really. All farmers hate them. I don't mind not seeing kitties. It's just good being here. Oh there is a family of banded mongoose that visited me when I got here. They are so sweet and there is a very small baby, a bigger one and then what I presume is Mum and Dad.

Hope genet here too. Will let you know when I see. Sorry its nearly over though. Bush TV going strong! Going to put it to the use I made for now.

Tell Jazzie to enjoy her last night.

No chance of even sleep. I am so p***ed off. Two very drunk guys are next door. Playing music so loud it is unreal. Have asked them to please be quiet. It worked 4 mins! Complained to camp management. They have done NOTHING. I feel like taking my double cab with bull bars and ramming their car at SPEED.

For sure. Will just ram their music machine first. I'll get the nice folk next door to help.

Pls say Hi to them from me and when I am doing time for malicious damage to someone and their vehicle (and its a dear little blue Golf)...

Good thought that but I am feeling violent tonight! Totally unlike me too.

One more thought going through my little mind. Wish I had collected some of those big white thorns and then I could lay a nice trap for them and their pretty little car!
