Oops busbuddies, I almost got left behind, you move very fast
Love all your pics and that shrike and the bushbuck are too beautiful
Your accommodation looks very impressive
Thanks for sharing
Hi Carol g! Good to see you here on our Marakele trip!
Can only add that the tents and setting is great
Just back from my trip
The best tent (setting) is Loerie.
Has the best view of the mountains without any other tent blocking your view
Will write something soon with images as well
Good bert! Looking forward to hear all about your experience as well. I can see that certain tents have a slightly better view (not seeing other tents) than others, but really - all actually have awesome views!

Jip - like a real Cape Townian wind. Just more intermittent. Every time you think it has stopped, then a gust of wind comes pass and shakes the tent again!

It looks just lovely. I do love those little Cisticolas, well done on the good pose
They are such proud little singers, those cistocolas!
Well, with "creatures" like that, i will also stay in camp. Great Birdie pics. Love the "Bosveldtinktinkie".
Really a nice setting in camp, and nice creatures to create a lovely atmosphere!
As naughty as the monkeys are
..they still stay entertaining to watch their antics.
of the birds
..gorgeous one in the morning light.
Always - monkeys can be watched, like, forever!
Nice variety of birdies and shots, Bushbuddies
That would make a trip up there interesting for me
Although naughty you captured the the monkeys brilliant
So I assume Pumbaa and Timon have not been to Marakele yet? Definitely worth a weekend visit next time around!
Nice shots of the birds
I do love the little bushbuck. Have seen them in camp and around many picnic sites in Kruger (esp Letaba), Marakele, Storms River Mouth etc. Such peaceful beauties!
Wonderful birdie sightings Bushbuddies
Thanks for sharing
More birdies coming up soon barryels!
