Wonderful lion shots!

On the subject of the bees at Grootkolk, we too were plagued by them in October. Franco told us they are looking for water so we bagged up the tap and then covered the surface around the sink, where water was still able to leak out, with neat shampoo or washing up liquid. The bees did not like this at all and left us alone! Had to repeat daily but without this sitting out during daylight was not nice. Also had to avoid having drinks etc outside during day time as those bees must have picked up the scent PDQ and came buzzing back

Here is the last of the series of the Grootkolk male. It was hard to watch this animal leave across the riverbed as it was the last we would see of him on this trip as we were now going south. Till next year big fella!
