Hi Elsa! All caught up again! I can’t believe that someone came into the park with a pet monkey … what were they thinking??? I wonder if they are also responsible for a couple of the many nappies we saw littered around the park …

Aaaah, I wondered why it was so empty at Afsaal. Were the tame bushbucks around when you were there? This trip was the first time I’ve seen them wandering around Afsaal!

3 leppies on your way to Shimuweni … lucky you! I only had one leopard sighting in the whole week I was in the south …

2.5 degrees yesterday morning … I knew it felt colder!

Hope you all have a safe drive back to KZN … looking forward to seeing all your wonderful photos when you have time!

PS – Hope all is better with your knee.

Trust you are safely home @ KZN by now.

Wow, 6 months seems so long to wait now!
December we will be doing almost the same. One week @ Ngwenya and then 3 days @ Pretoriuskop.

On our wish list are Lion , Leopard and Doggies, but will take whatever we get. ( Can not remember when last we saw lion or leopard )
SO suggested that we coordinate our next visit with yours and just follow you around all day and everyday.

Glad you had a successful trip and looking forward to some pics while counting the months!

Back home safe and sound, it was a long day in the car. Amazing how you can be in the car for ten hours in the park and it is no problem, but ten hours driving home seems to take forever. This has to have been one of the best trips as far as variety is concerned, can wait to relive it through the trip report.

A stunning 3 weeks in the park   .

Happy that both of you are safely home  .

I think it is the traffic and the fact that it is on your way home Jock  .

Thanks for the updates throughout the trip  . Can't wait for the TR with pic's and all  .

I can also not believe that the three weeks are over and done with! It feels like three days! :(

Anyway, glad you are back home safe and sound! Looking forward to all your pictures of those wonderful sightings Elsa, Klystron and Jock!

So glad you had a fantastic trip, well apart from injuring your knee that is.

I may have missed your actual trip, but at least I get to enjoy it through your TR and photo's, which I'm sure are going to be stunning as usual. You have had some amazing sightings this time around.

Thanks so much for the good wishes both for our trip and the knee!

Unfortunately my computer which is the one I do the pics etc from, has done a dirty on me and will not boot up!
SO is trying to sort out its errant behaviour so until its done I can't start the report proper with pics but I promise as soon as it comes right I will do so, as I can assure you we do have some stunning pics and dying to share them with you all.
So until then, don't go too far!
