Typical of her! You never know where she might be hiding. And then - she just pops out of nowhere, and gives a few people a few good shots and then vanish again!

Maybe her relaxed mode is just a cover up... :hmz: Or maybe she is innocent? 8)

Looking forward to more...

Pity indeed! We need as many of us out there to gather as much evidence as possible. She was posing beautifully for us indeed... probably all part of her seductive games! :?

Dear Detective Bushbuddies,
I am writing to you, seeing that your investigative techniques have become legendary (to say the least), to ask about your advice about me becoming a detective like you. Your Report has me enthralled, and the subject matters even more enthralling. Rhinos, especially the Blackie, has eluded me for years. And the prime suspect-you have made her look completely innocent and seductive. What technique, what timing, what excellence to detail and Sir, I like your co-operative nature, getting reporters and gossipers involved too. As for that Pathologist-when he claps his beak, you will know there is much evidence to garner. Dear Sir, what is a scatologist? Is this part of investigative work, or a by-product. Does it stink?
I'm quite confident you will be done this investigation in 48 hours. I must express my pity about the road traveled and all the trucks and fumes etc. But I do believe the location of your investigative pursuits are most suitable to make that bearable.
I await, with a suspenders twanging profusely for your next installment,

I remain

A very late arrival to this TR. :slap: :slap: :slap:

Thank you for your writings, detective Noel. It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the team on this report. Scatology, my dear colleague, is the study of faeces. :| Hence the spurfowls make great scatologists. The dungbeatles are, however, still regarded as the best in the field. There are lots of those on the Addo Scene. They are higly regarded and have right of way there! Enough of that - let's get back to business...

Oh... Ms Pardus is sly, deceiving, and flirtateous. But she is a killer of note. Many an impala have ended up dead in a tree because of her tricks! She should not be trusted, despite all of her beauty...

Friday 22/2/2013 18:30 - Camp - Berg-en-Dal 05:30

After a great afternoon of some good detective work, we spent our evening at Berg-en-Dal, BA3U unit nr 28. Lovely spot to get all your evidence together, think about them, and start working on the suspects. But, we were not alone. In the one evening, we had visits from 3 Waterbuck, 2 rhinos, 2 hippos and 1 bushbuck coming to drink from a pond right in front of our chalet. They heard we were in the area, and came to give us their side of the story over a drink or two...

Saturday 23/2/2013 5:30 - Berg-en-Dal 16:30

Any detective worth his/her salt, will know that to get the crucial evidence - you should be on the scene first thing in the morning! :rtm: And the Bushbuddies are always aware of this - so at 5:30 they were back on the scene again. Eyes open - ready to get the next clue...

Saturday 23/2/2013 6:15 - Corner of the H3 and S110 17:15

After 17 hours and 15 minutes on the case, we met our 2nd group of suspects...

Image

A family of 8 adults - known as the Malelane Mafia. They were obviously resting after a busy night. All we were wondering - is what they've been up to the previous night... :hmz: Some of them were obviously very tired!

Image

With the 2 Godfathers, and their 6 ladies with them, we had a lot of suspects to keep our eyes on.

The most alert was Mrs Leo:

Image

She is married to one of the Godfathers - Mufasa Leo. Many have argued that she is a better "hunter" than the man himself. A good mugshot:

Image

One of her sisters, Ms Simba, became alert to our presence...

Image

Like Ms Pardus, she is a sly creature - can look very innocent - but has a killer instinct!

Image

Then - one of the godfathers - Mufasa Leo. Behind him - one of his mistresses...

Image

Mufasa is a ruthless killer. There are rumours that he had killed some cubs before to let his dominance be known!

Image

Most of the time, he seemed relaxed in our presence...

Image

Image

But when my SO started looking at his mistress, he gave us a "What are you looking at, kid?" look...

Image

A final mugshot of Mufasa:

Image

He eventually got up, walked passed his brother, Scar (named so because of the burn mark he has on his shoulder - for identification purpouses), and settled in the distance under a tree.

Image

Scar, on the other hand, seemed very relaxed. He was sleeping all the time, while his girlfriend was yawning away behind him!

Image

We got our mugshots, took down their descriptions, and decided to move on. Chances were good that we would meet up with the mafia of the region again...

The Malelane Mafia gang look a real intimidating bunch - and it looks like Mafusa has been doing a lot of protection of his territory over the years - he certainly qualifies to be called a Don

Great detective work once again
