Hi there everyone, so glad to have you all on board with us.
After a lovely night at Mopani with Val and Dungie.
We drove the tropic of Capricorn loop yesterday late afternoon and did find a lovely Tsessebe and a few other odds and ends but the Cheetah seemed to allude us unfortunately this far! Suddenly as we arrived at the waterhole we saw that time had caught up with us and we had to leave back for camp immediately in order not to be late.
Drove down to Letaba today where we had a nice lunch and a meet with EJ.
Then it was time to say good bye to Val and Dungie for a little while till we meet them again for the next stage of our trip.
Now we are at OLifants camp for the next 2 night's.
Hopefully the sightings will pick up a bit in the next few days.
We are continually amazed at the changed rivers and damaged roads and bridges, but Sanparks are doing a incredible job of repairing and patching them up so we are not too inconvenienced.

Elsa enjoy olifants, one of my favorite camps, I'm sure when you get a bit more south, from Satara onward, you will start seeing the kitty cats.Holding thumbs.
