OMW!!!!! NOEL! How on earth have you been hiding this unbelievable sighting for sooooo long I am insanely jealous here where Im sitting! Jy is seker die gelukkig blikskottel ter wereld! talk about the creme da la creme OMW! I think I wouldve been rattling like a V8 engine just seeing that I wouldn't have been able to hold the camara still lol

I mentioned that the Raptors were not enjoying this weather, and I regularly saw them on the trees as I made my way to Lower Sabie.




This Wahlberg looked quite miserable






And another one of our precious friends-also objected to my statement about the animals being in the wrong place at the wrong time-he was punishing me by not coming out into the open

Noel, how lucky can you get, caracals never seen one in Kruger and I've been going there for 33years fantastic sighting. I'm sur you were glad you took that road and didn't follow them other cars

Heard this bird long before I saw it. A car joined me as the occupants also heard its beautiful sounds, and between us we eventually managed to track it down. Crumbs it was well camouflaged.

And a sighting that makes you forget the wonder of that Caracal sighting. Makes you mad

You can see the matriarch is in two minds about charging this vehicle which was way too close to the herd.

Anyway, I enjoyed watching the breeding herd pass by. At a safe distance of course












And they too were gone. Except there were still a few more- to my complete and utter dismay!

That will have to wait.

This is wild animals. If one just got pushed from the side

at the ellie crossing. Lovely ellie family, but recipe for disaster. There are some tiny ellies and some very watchful moms. This is not a time to go mother's day shopping.

As if the Caracal sightings was not enough...the ultimate a kitten too. ...very special and so .

Glad I was not an occupant in that car...way to close with all those baby Ellies.
