We had just one night in Gharagab and today we move on to Mata Mata. At Polentswa, a Lanner Falcon was hunting and had two attempts at some doves, failing both times. It also chose a perch which made it difficult to get a good photo.

That afternoon when we went for a drive from Mata Mata, Val was very happy as we found spotted eagle owl chicks between Dalkeith and Craig Lockhart and in the same area we did last year.

This TR is moving fast, and I was moving too slowly lately - so had a lot of catching up to do!

All I can say is wow Sharifa! Wow at the amazing sightings and wow at the amazing photographs! Next time you go to KTP - swing by my place before you leave - and take me with! I'm also in Centurion...

I haven't been to KTP for 2 and a half years now. This TR is making me want to go back BIG TIME! :slap:
