Back from a very HOT stay in Kruger...

Thank goodness the photos are all sorted

After a 3hour fligt from Cape Town we landed in Neslpruit....got the hired car and made a beeline for Skukuza.
Arrived at camp....boy was it HOT :roll:

Thank goodness the aircon was on in our bungelow when we arrived. We unpacked quickly, went to the shop to stock up on food. Unpacked the goods and had our first cooldrink outside on the patio....aah we are home

The river was flowing strong, everything was nice and green

We did not feel like going out at all...just chilled at camp and enjoying being here

Had a "lekker' braai....sat out for a while but the mozzies were all coming out in full force, so off into the cool bungalow and sleep.

Woken up with this alarm "screaming'' :lol:

Set it up for 7am as we did not want to rush out to Satara....while making coffee we hear this thundering sound on the roof....SO opened the curtains and saw it was Baboons chasing each other around on the roofs....one came onto the patio to see if there were something to eat...he/she got such a fright when SO upened the door that it took off and bit its mate :lol:

Had our first coffee, packed up and took a slow drive to Satara. On the low bridge we stopped for a while...this Thick Knee appeared and posed for us

Further on we saw this female...she was very alert and staring into the bushes....
