So this is going to be my first attempt at a trip report so please have some patience....

Will start in a few days...need to try and sort some pics first.

We had an awesome time and met a few yellow ribbons! :dance:

We are finally back home and I can really say Home sweet home! Never mind how much you enjoy your holiday, your own place is still the best(except for Kruger of course).

So the journey began on 14 Dec 2012 when we left Cape Town for our biggest dream ever!
We stopped for 2 nights in Struisbaai and left there on the evening of the 17th en route to Durban.
This is where we met up with close friends of ours that would join us for this adventure!

We did the necessary shopping and was ready to leave at 3am on 20 Dec :dance:

Our plan from the start was to drive via Swaziland, so armed with passports and all the necessary docs (Thanks to Elsa and the posts on the forum) we drove off.

The first border stop was a bit of a nightmare...took about an hour but the other 3 wasn't to bad. They did search both cars and the trailor but we didn't have any problems and we had some meat and milk and a few other things in the cooler. Once through we stopped at Komatipoort for lunch and the last big buy before we would enter.

I think we finally entered at 14:03 :dance:

All along I was wondering what our first animal would be but I never imagined it being a wildebeest. We saw it even before we got to the official gate.
