Aat, what magnificence :D

Your :cam: do justice to their grace and beauty. I love your secretary bird. Just so posed, quite comical, really. They are often so difficult to capture with a camera.

superb

Believe me Aat,

you are a birder when you stop and take pictures of them at least the passion started that way

Indeed quite an impressive collection out which the bateleurs, the bee eaters in a row, the martial sequence and for sure the very last secretary shot are my favourites

Thanks M M,
Agree with you. I have been lucky to seen several Secretary birds during last trips but as you say... often difficult to capture... this one was posing nicely and at shorter distance. :) :)

Thanks anne-marie,
Every time I try to ID birds by the book I think I found the name but then.... other ones do look similar and then I don't know it anymore... I prefer tuskers ....smileeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

Thanks a lot Pumbaa,
No mistake , I love birds...but they always make it so difficult to ID. I always get doubts about their names. And even when I think I found the name there is brown or black one or a pale version or... and or.... No surprise when I say....please give me a tusker to ID....
