6 cheetah together  Aat, realize you have seen about 3% of all cheetah in kruger.
Must have been a big thrill that early in the morning.
Wonderfully captured , real beautiful pictures. So curious about the stories to come, asking myself, how much more have you guys seen during one trip. :hmz: :hmz:

Incredible story and sighting again. Most of us are really happy with one cheetah on a trip. Seeing 6 together is something I only can dream of, but your story proves "it is possible" :) :)

Many thanks for sharing this with us
I think I went 5 times through the story to enjoy the pictures and almost felt being there.
Like others I am curious what will be shown next time

Thanks Pvdburg,
Just can say...it really was wonderful.
Next story...? ehhh will take some time I guess... "bit" busy with tusker site, ID'ing and adding new ones. Priority 1 for me

Looking forward to your next story. I'm curious how you go about whispering to the animals and how it all started.

Stampajane,
You understand it's bit of fun about that whispering. :) :)
Whispering with the tuskers is maybe a different story in a certain way... probably just being lucky with them over the years but they always appear in good position and even weird situatations...
Tell you one story about that. I was staying in Mopani and end of the afternoon I was really planning to do a drive. Something inside me "told" me to go and also ..."go to" Tihongonyeni.... so I did... arriving there nothing except a bull at the horizon coming towards the waterhole. I used my binocs and it was MAC coming... the first tusker I ever met during my first trip ever to kruger. He came down... and passed the waterhole and came close to about 20 meters...posing and watching... I even started talking to him... after about 10 minutes he went to the waterhole for a drink... turned around once and disappeared again. For me still one of the weird stories in kruger.
MAC was the first real tusker who inspired me to start the Tusker site with many tuskers of kruger and some other african countries. :)

Thanks for your reply Aat, and I get that there is a bit of fun in the whispering but I also believe that there is a lot of energy that connects us all, stuff that I don't really understand, so it's not beyond the realms of belief that you do actually communicate with the animals and they do respond. I find the subject so interesting.

Stampajane,
Like I told you about story with Mac there are several examples like that. Difficult to explain but this kind of 6th sense is "on my shoulder" often in kruger. Think I can write a book about it. Weird stories and kind of headshaking when we were facing a wonderful sighting. Sometimes crazy feeling when 6th sense offered something special again. Can't define it , can't explain it... it's not every day but every now and then... feeling is that strong that it guides me..... "go there".... "wait here" , think more people have this and it is a matter of listening to it... I guess.
:) :)

Aat,
What a story again
I agree with you, must be a super mother to raise 5 cubs in that "lion area"
Must have been a big big thrill to see them coming one by one to a total of 6. I guess this series of stories is going to be legendary. Are you writing a book about your Kruger sightings ? I will buy one

Thanks,
It was a big thrill, believe me :) :)
Maybe one day I start writing a book about kruger. :hmz: :hmz:
If there are at least 500 interested people to buy a copy this "maybe one day" will be changed to a date not too far away from today.
