There is no doubt that will stay with you. In fact even just reading it and seeing the pictures, I will probably always remember it! I will probably be asking Heksie if she remembers that newborn Ellie of Wendy's in like 10 years time! :lol:

I have the memory of an elephant when it comes to sightings! In fact I can clearly remember that brilliant Lion sighting of yours at Gezantfombi Dam in your first TR! You stayed with the Lions by the dam wall for such a long time while others drove off. You watched all the animals come to drink giving them the "babies watch out" warning :lol:

Then the buffs rocked up and the lions jumped on the Buffs back!! Then the herd fought back!!!

....Cheetah is a Cheetah sighting no matter what....glad your Mom could see it. :dance:

Bushbaby visit by night as well - I so much want to take a picture from one - Up to now I only got a glimpse of one also in Croc Bridge - Believe me I will spent my nights next February by wandering through camp on the search for a decent picture of them :tongue:

Hi Pumbaa! Thanks for your comments. Yes, it was a pity about all the rain at the cheetah sighting, but I must say what we saw with our eyes was better than the photo makes out. It crossed the road about 15m in front of us so we did get a nice sighting! AND I must also say (to use my Mum's favourite catch-phrase now ... "we saw a newborn baby ellie!!!" I believe the bushbabys stay in the roof of the bungalow next to safari tent 7 - PM Heksie, she saw them when she was at Croc Bridge with her Mum the weekend after me!

Sitting on the stoep listening to the sounds of the bush after a magical day in Kruger is the best!

Hi Timbits! Glad you're all caught up again. Wish you (and all my other forum mite friends) could have been there for the ellie sighting - it was AMAZING!!! Seeing the cheetah after that was great, and then the little lesser bushbaby really was the icing on the cake for us! You are right, my Mum was over the moon!

Hi Barry! Thanks for your comments! Yes, the baby ellie really was a special sighting, especially for my MUM who just LOVES ellies! Then to see the cheetah AND have a visit from the Croc Bridge bushbaby was brilliant!

I hate the rain at the best of times and was SO disappointed that we had a wet weekend - still, it's good for the animals and we still had some amazing sightings (even through the rain!)!
