Hope Ouma shared some sherry to toast your sightings.

Yesssss that is indeed the very same Brutus

We shall both be there in Jan :D I moved the booking from Malalane to Skuks. It will serve the first timers well with the swimming pool and shop there in camp  If they don't manage to rise to come on a morning drive with me, they can just snooze in and chill in the pool  They planning on taking board games and all sorts!! I guess I must be patient with three first time Krugerians :D I'm hoping to show them the big 5! The lions must play ball for the guests please 8)

We have a family trip in Kruger next year! Its either in May, Or August. We have yet to see based on my dad's work :D And Lower Sabi is definitely on the cards  Your camp :D

I will be in Kruger again in January. I am taking three people my age who have never been to Kruger before. Another beautiful Leopard! My, but you were lucky with the spotted ones!

Yes indeed we were :D But it is a good area for leopard!! All different leopards. 1km West of the watergat turn off was the female in tree. 1km East of watergat was Brutus, and on the H11 by the bridge just East of the S1 was the mating couple. So all our leopard sightings within 6kms and it just so happened to be within 24hours. But rest assured, the leopard craze is now over in the TR.

I was getting frustrated waiting for you I must admit But now you have made it!!! The TR will go on The korhaan popping thing is magical Thanks!

And no doubt you were frustrated as I was AWOL again! It is hard spending so much time in the park then returning to tons of work, but hey, I’ve managed to catch up again!!!

Sorry “my leopard” didn’t make an appearance for you at Duke’s, but glad you appreciated the rain, flowers and other animals who were there to say hello to you!

Only three sightings of “Willies” on your trip? That’s cause they’ve all moved up north!!! SO glad Heksie and I got to see them between Shing and Punda – one of the challenges set for us on the Brownie Challenge and more money for our beloved unmentionables!

I love the pictures of the zebbies “posing” – that 2nd shot is a classic!

Glad Ouma got to see the lazy horse in the tree.

Just love the baba baboons – soooooo cute! Nice dragonfly pic too – looks like it’s doing a handstand!

What a lovely sighting of the spotted honeymoon couple and then the big guy with the collar – awesome!

Beautiful sunset too ... *sigh* ... I am a sucker for those Kruger sunsets and sunrises!

No I was just waiting for you and Lion Queen to hop on board before the next update! And you both arrived

Your Dukes leopard didn't make an appearance when I went looking for him that first night at LS during Brownie time either :slap: :slap: Truth be told, I was actually looking for the cheetah family! But ja your leopard only appears for you there :naughty:

Good  the willies were all up North for the rhinos  Now they can spread out again

But now the leopard mania is over
From the H11, to the watergat turn off on the S1 has for a while now been a good area for leopard  And this summer has been the best area to see the Skukuza pack of dogs :hmz:
