Hi Lionspoon! :D :D

What an amazing, exhilarating, rather scary encounter with the naughty lion
He sure did give you "that look" 8)

Plus you got a lovely farewell from the tawny, and those gorgeous meerkats

The icing on the cake though is your last eland of the trip
A superb photo :cam:

So this trip is over, but another is just around the corner for you and Spots
Thanks for sharing all the sights with us :gflower: :gflower:

And I'll be right back on board when your next TR starts

Thanks for such a nice trip report, Mel,

although you must confess that the look of the last lion was something very special and who could get lionbored when getting such a look

Great eland picture and indeed such sightings are always something very special

Thanks for your comments and wishes,

Trrp, Pumbaa, Philip and Sharifa! :k

Philip, we'll be leaving for KTP on Friday and will enter the park somewhen Saturday afternoon.
Our first night will be in Kieliekrankie - can't wait!

Trrp, I already employed someone for the driving who does the cooking on the braai as well.
But I could do away with a cook for the sides.
