We ended up at the bird-hide where we spent almost two hours and took dozens of pics. Most of the time we were alone - a real highlight of the weekend!

Had our first ever sighting of Waterbuck in Marakele - they were feeding on the reeds

There were strangly not many birds - only waterbird present was a Black Crake that showed itself for a few seconds.
Bulbuls, Grey Go Away Birds, Common and Blue Waxbills as well as Canaries came to drink. Also some Crested Francolins.
