Hi Val :gflower:

I have finally caught up with a huge break from the forums, and this break might be because I started loving the forums a bit too much, and than I just did not want to study and just wanted to concentrate on the forums instead of my academic work, so I have finally caught up with my College Work and also planning on catching up on the forums today.

Great episodes, soo glad you saw your WILD DOGS and Cheetah even though they were not at the park and than seeing WILD DOGS in the Park must simply be a treat.

I Loved all the pics of Lions and this might be because it is my favorite animal.

Really feel SORRY for the buff, but Nature is sometimes very cruel but we just have to leave it take its course.

Looking forward to more of your episodes and hopefully I can be an All Rounder and stay focused on 2 things.

Hi Val,

I had a lot of catching up to do, but I got through the 10 pages I had missed. The flooding is amazing. I hope everyone is safe and pray for the employees and the families who have lost all of they belongings.

Hope you are having an awesome time and thank you so much for continuing to share your trip with us!

Daron

Glad to have you back Daron.

Day 96 (Feb 4th)
Not a very successful day.

Firstly I forgot my camera, but as it happens, apart from a lovley Dark Chanting Goshawk which was a lifer for us, and a very new born Zebbie, that I would have liked photos of, we only saw a few Impies and a lone bull Ellie.

We drove along the H9, then turned down the S132, then S133, then the H14.

We had a quick visit to "our causeway" where nobody came out to see us, and then drove back to Phala.

We still love our park even on lean days, and it just makes us realise how lucky we are on the days when we do see lots. It's not a zoo, and I firmly believe that the bush only shows us what it wants us to see!!!

Dinner was Country Chicken Hotpot, and now Dungy has gone to pour us a long Amarula............

Tomorrow we leave early for a day trip to Olifants............can't wait!!!

To be continued............

Hey Val, every day in the African bush is a blessing, even if it shows your very little!

(can you believe it, our CB's are mating again and sitting on the branch all day , and eats a lot! The one chick is in the other nest still.)

Val,
Just going through the Phala gate into Paradise is reward enough, with the smells, sounds and total peace which engulfs you.
Have a special trip tomorrow to Olifants.

Hi Val. Another fantastic episode.

You are right with your statement that the Park only shows us what it wants us to see, like there are so many times when Lions might be just next to the road and we miss them because of them being blended into the background.

Cant wait for more

Val I must say I love the way you add what's for dinner. I will confess I have copied you sometimes if I can't think of what to make for us that night.
