Thank you all for the comments......most appreciated. :D
Thank you for the Flower ID Hilda :)

Spending lots of time at LP and not saw even once a fish caught by the Pieds. The only reason I can think off is the dirty water. The Pieds change their hunting skills and concentrate on the local Dragon fly population.

Jan, you truly had some remarkable sightings during your visit.

Some amazing pics of the Egyptian Geese family and the action shot.  I wonder where they are as they were not there yesterday nor today. :hmz:

That Fish Eagle is also an amazing pic with a catch in the claws.

The flower is also beautiful and agree that the flies adds to the compo. :D

WOW - that Pied is an excellent pic with the dragonfly    . I also agree as the Pieds were fishing further up the lake and not close to the hide.

Thank you for sharing your brilliant images. Most enjoyable to look at and brilliant photography.

We were there late morning today with little bit of sunny weather and hope to be making our last visist tomorrow as we will be on our way.

We, however got 2 great sightings i.e. the one at the Nursery of a Giant Kingfisher and the on the road about 100m from tar road the leopard in the tree about 30m off - lovely pose and the came walking to the road, quenched its thirst in one of the mud pools in the road and then disappeared into the bush. :D

Kaapsedraai ,I was feeling sorry for you with the bad weather for photography but likely the rain is always good for the Park. Glad for that the sun shine a little bit and looking forward to the images of the Giant and the great Leopard sighting.
Enjoy the last few days and have a save trip home

Thank you, Jan.
We will be off to the Lanseria airport at 10h00 to catch 17h10 plane to CTN, but first an S1 drve and visit to Lake Panic after which we will hit the long road.

We were at Berg n Dal when the rains came down and tried the S25 to Gardenia Hide, but the road was extremely muddy, hence took the first road back to the tar road. After this all the gravel roads were closed in the area except the Matjulu. The Crocodile river was running nicely, but all tar roads and bridges were open. So, we drove out at Malelane gate to Crocodile gate and did a tar road to Lower Sabie, then to Skukuza and back down to Berg n Dal in the rain - what a Sunday afternoon drive. We did take some pics of all the rivers... :D
