African Goshawks at Lake Panic

The two pictures are of an immature African Goshawk perched at the entrance of the hide taken in March 2010, and a mature African Goshawk taken about 15 metres from the entrance to the hide, taken in October 2014.

It would be nice to think that it could be the same bird grown to maturity, I guess that four years would be sufficient time to grow to maturity. I have checked in Peter Steyn's book "Birds of Prey", Alan Kemp's book of the same name, Roberts, and the SA Avian atlas, but can find no information on how long the bird takes to grow to maturity.

Never the less, a very handsome bird.
