Looks as if the heron presenting a feathered shield on the side of his body. :hmz:

Another great action of the regulars at the Lake. You have captured the moment magnificently, Jan. :clap: :clap:

The hamerkop is such an interesting bird to watch and they all add up to the variety one can experienc at Lake Panic. :dance:

You captured this one excellently, Jan. :thumbs_up:

Come to think of it, I cannot remember me seeing one at the Lake on the times I visisted the area :hmz: , but definately a lot at the other causeways and waterways. :whistle:
