I spent 2 days at there last weekend. It stays a place of beauty. The Pied Kingfishers were very active and was really trying their best to stop the population explosion of the fish

The malachite also honoured me with a short but colorful visit

Jan, just brilliant shots of the flying Pied kingfisher and Grey heron. The B&W Green-ack heron came out just beautifully. Great shots and love them all.

Pumbaa, wow - these Malachites are just so colourful and love the sand on the red beak. Great shot :cam: :cam:

Tobieo - you got some brilliant shots and love the beautiful photography. I can see what you mean by the explosion of fish population - all got plenty of food wh  ich makes for great moments to capture.

Thank you to al for sharing these brilliant moments.
