granjan A butterfly bush in Punda Oct 2011

Unread postby granjan » Tue Oct 11, 2011 5:54 pm

During my recent trip, I stayed in Punda for three nights and was lucky enough to stay in safari tent no:3. The tent was beautiful with a great view over the bush and gave the feeling of being completely private.

A couple of metres in front of the braii was a small insignificant flowering bush.

However, when the sun shone onto it in the afternoon, the scent was amazing and the butterflies and insects thought so too.

Warm sun, delicious scent, the drone of insects and a cold Savannah light made for as memorable an afternoon as the big 5 at one sitting!
