I went off to WCNP on Wednesday and herewith a few photos of the flowers.
I do feel that the flowers are not the best that I have seen...maybe they are still going to spurt forth. The flowers still make for a pretty display though. It was a glorious day…30° and almost no wind.

And just a warning to those visiting the park..watch out for snakes. I saw 1 x cape cobra and 2 x puff adder…very large ones at that!

Karoo Scrub-Robin, Karoo Prinia, Southern Double-collared Sunbird, Bokmakieries, Cattle Egrets, Guinea Fowl , Cape Francolin, White-backed Mousebird, Cape Robin-Chat, Cape Bulbul and Sacred Ibis were very much in evidence. We saw one Yellow-billed Kite...yay summer is on it's way !!!! We saw Eland, Zebra, Bontebok, Springbok, Wildebeest and Bat-eared Foxes inside Postberg. Ostriches and tortoises were everywhere...we stopped countin tortoises at #30
All in all a lovely day...but I do think I have to squash another visit in before the end of September...
