A short report with a few photos

Did see the usual spread of game, but no large herds. Was lucky to see leopard twice near Skukuza and saw only one Rhino just before we left at Phabeni gate.

We arrive in rain on Saturday and had rain at Tamboti that night but the area around Letaba and Olifants is very dry

Lower Sabie area is wet and green.

The S100 was closed on Saturday but open on Monday. Did not see much on it only this.

The S39 north of Timbavati is fast becoming my lucky road. Saw a Leopard and more than a hundred Giraffe there in June and now Lion and also general game.

We saw this on the H10 just north of the Sabie River

Saw also a few little ones

The Olifants and Letaba rivers are running.

But the areas around are very dry. The grass and trees look dead as you can see in the photos. When I was there in June the riverbeds were full of green plants but every thing is dry now.

I can remember the exact location but it was near Olifants

I shall check tonight if I had a pic of the Letaba river in June or April to show how much dryer it is now
