Saw a cheeta kill an impala and 30 minutes later caught another to be killed by her 3 cubs

on the tar road between tsokwane and Lower Sabie , 5 km from the turn-off to the right as you go North to go around the "koppie' H1-0 :wink:

she did not run very far on both kills, i would say she ran 25 to 30 meters on both kills. it was over so quickly we were stunned. the impalas was not paying attention at all, more interested in the green stuff of which ther was not a lot. :shock:
the other siting we saw was a lioness with a impala kill ,did not see the kill, hiding it away from 4 males walking at the water hole, she was more or less a 100 meters from them. she hid it under a bush and skratched in the dirt to close it up, then came into the road walked around the bakkie twice and lay down watching the males

no there was a small rhino that was killed by another rhino at the waterhole and they tried to feast on this but the skin was to tough for them and they were trying to get to this meat as well.
