Yep.
The next trip is coming up.
28 October till 01 December.

I will be attending a wildlife course in Phalaborwa and it will be, primarily, given in the Kruger.

I know. It is still a very long way to go, but I am already very exited about it and going through the (e)motions of being in that special place I love so much.

Thanks Rookie and Katja.
It will not be a "walk in the park"though.
Have not "crammed" for an exam in over 25 years.

It is the Fgasa1 course packed into 1 month of inhouse studying and learning including the theoretical and practical exam.

Oh Micetta. I won't be ding that. You all will.

Eish Micetta.
It is an in-house course.
We are being taught the whole day and a lot of the classes are actually in Kruger and on foot.
As for how many hours a day? No idea, but I suspect it will be full days.

I received my schedule today.
Man. Those 30 days are going to be gruelling.

Every day starts with an hour long test of what you have learned the day before.
Then a part, e.g. Geology, in the morning. A part, e.g. Taxonomy, in the afternoon and then studying in the evening.
Saturday mornings practical on foot in the bush and then a day and a half off time.
Day 29 National theoretical exam and day 30 Practical exam/ assessment.

Phew.
I am really looking forward to it. :D :D

Last night I was thinking and one of the things I would not like to encounter is a member of this species. I just do not like them. Especially when they are in my car.

But as you all can see. Everybody left the R 100.00 note just where it was.

But, as the saying goes, time is getting near and it is only 7 more weeks to go from today until I will be on the plane to get me to my final destination.

The only place where this glorious sight can be seen.

Well folks.
The last month of this long wait has finally arrived.
Soon my new lifestyle is going to start.
Only 27 days left now before I arrive in my beautiful South Africa and only 31 until I start the course that, I hope, will give me a chance for a change in the future.

Ok.
Time to get serious now.
The 3 weeks mark has been reached and it is time to start and make a list of everything needed.
Time to, gradually, start packing and trying to figure how to cram everything into one suitcase and still stay within the 20 kgs limit.
