Thank for your friendly remark Micetta!
As I said, I don’t like word, so I will give a photo presentation from your trip.
Making use of the parks offer in May I made the booking for July, World cup time! The park was in excellent conditions! We haven’t seen the park so lush and green in years. The sad part was the animals al went to the soccer or so we though!
Getting everybody up at 6:00 and ready to go, took some organization. Tea with condensed milk and Rusk’s were served at 5:00. The engine was started at 5:45 and at 6:00 we were waiting in the queue. Camera equipment sorted and ready for action! Driving slowly, looking behind and under every bush, everybody alert, we set off for Nkuhlu for breakfast. Just as we reach the T junction we saw the first of the many nothings, lying right in the middle of the road! I’m not exaggeration; we saw our first animal just after 8:30, a little steenbok. But that got the show on the road.
My pick for day 1

After the fire, we had the most stunning sunsets, but the sunrise was spectacular! Day 7 Image

Day 7 ended with this honeymoon couple! Two old lions… just look at the condition of her teeth! Made me think….. LOVE must be BLIND!

Kamadejo, it was smoke from the fire, but we did have a lot of mist almost every morning.
Micetta, Elsa, Shi. Hippo-fan and Pumbaa thanks for your reply. I love taking photos but it’s nice being appreciated!
Day 8 was a real low budgets day, or so we thought until 5:15 that afternoon!

Micetta, Flutterby, Kamadejo, Hippo-fan, lion queen, Pumbaa, JustNature, Kiara, Shi, Thanks for taking the time to READ…. Look my TR. It’s a pleasure sharing my photos with you all.
Well it’s almost the last of my holiday and as usual KNP left the best for last.
Day 9
My youngest daughter and I were the only ones going out at 6:00 that morning. The rest stayed in bed. As we were turning back to Skukuza, we decided to take a detour via the S65 back. Just as we turned onto the dirt road we saw the lions. 4 Lionesses and 15 cubs. What an amazing sighting! Here are a couple of the cubs!

Sorry after the dogs, I was so tired of taking photos (278) that the rest of the day my finger was in spasm!
To end my trip report there is family. The one that’s not a “pajama” donkey, that’s me and my family!
