Unread postby Magic Olli » Sun Jul 11, 2010 6:38 pm

Hello everybody,
as I promised to flying cheetah, Shi and Magic Guarri here is my trip report.

My name is Oliver.
I´m from Bavaria (Germany).

I will start with one of my favorit birds.
Bateleur

This honeymooners I saw on the S 39 (Satara to Letaba)

Special Thanks to Shi, who was "babysitting" flying cheetah.
So I can test and get conversant with my new camara.

Hello everybody,

thank you for the warm welcome.

It was my third trip to KNP.
Compared with other parks in namibia, botswana, sambia, south africa and kenya the KNP is my absolute favorite.

I will continue with the next honeymooners.
On the same day near Letaba I saw this "german soccer supporters" (black-red-gold made up)

saddle billed stork (it was my first one in SA)

The next pictures I took at Nyawutsi.
I was sitting in the hide and everything was silent. (no animals or humans)
After 10 minutes I heard something. It was like the wind in the trees but one moment later I saw it...

a huge elephant herd.

It was so peaceful to see this huge animals so close.
(but I was really happy sitting in the hide and not in the car. So I could enjoy the show)

Shi:
I think Wolfgang brainwashed you. :D
The bayern munich team members were the reason why the german soccer team was so successful.
If you replace the bayern munich kicker with football players of 1860 (Wolfgang's preferred soccer team), germany would have the same fate like italy or france.
